About our Classes
Group Class Offerings
Group classes are always fun and we want to offer classes interesting to you, so just tell us what intrigues you. We will create a sign up sheet, post it on the bulletin board beside the front counter and when the class fills our teacher will call you with class details. This method provides our customers with classes they want, and keeps us from cancelling classes not full enough to schedule.
Sometimes it does take a while for a class to fill. If you have a project you would like to start, but require learning a new skill or need assistance, private lessons may be just the ticket for you, we can schedule these around your schedule to get you started.
Private Lessons
Individual private lesson fees are an inexpensive $10.00 per hour, charged in half hour increments. You will receive personalized attention from an instructor who will read through your pattern with you, answering questions as they arise. She will demonstrate and teach techniques new to you and required by the pattern so you are competent to complete the project.
Beginning lessons are also available to those wanting to learn how to knit or crochet, $20.00 will get you started with an instruction booklet, needles/hook, a hank/skein of yarn and two hours instruction in a one on one setting.

For some of the nicest selections of yarn in the area, visit our shop. We carry yarns from Tahki Stacey Charles, Cascade, Classic Elite, Debbie Bliss, Noro, Ella Rae and Sublime to name a few.
We are also pleased to be able to offer an ever increasing supply of made in the USA yarns, such as Brown Sheep, Alpaca with a Twist and Shepherd’s Wool.
If you don’t see the color you like in a particular yarn, don’t hesitate to ask us about additional colorways. We are more than happy to order your preferences for you.
We carry a variety of magazines and books in the shop as well as individual patterns from a host of designers, accessories and Crystal Palace Needles in both dpn and circulars, Addi Natura, Lace and turbo circular needles, and Brittany dpn and single points.
Mark your calendar for the third Monday of the month for Open Knit Night, join us at around 5:30 until 9:00 ish for a good time of sharing, learning and laughing. See you there.
