We are happy to hold merchandise up to 30 days.
Sweater Wizard
We have a computer program to assist persons wanting to design a sweater. If you have yarn in your stash and no pattern support – NO PROBLEM. Knit a swatch, all you need is your stitch and row gauge and the needle size. You can be on your way to knitting your very own creation! Ask Rhonda for assistance with the Sweater Wizard - she’s in on Tuesday’s.
First Fridays
We will no longer be open late for First Friday events. You can still catch us for Open Knitting on the third Monday of the month from 6:30-9:00 pm., and for our Special Events.
Special Events for Winter of 2008
We will be open until 9:00 for the following Special Events and late night knitting.
January 11-New Year’s Resolution Night–Finish up your old projects or start something new.
February 8-Ladies Valentine Knitting Night-No, we aren’t knitting valentines, but we do have all our red yarns discounted 20%.
March 17-St. Patrick’s Day-Wear green and purchase green yarn for 20% off from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
April 11—April Showers Night-—Spring into your knitting while we knit late into the evening. All baby yarn is 20% off.
New Book Arrivals
Two popular new books are now on our shelves. Both are fiction works surrounding the world of knitting—maybe we should write our own book! Check out Debbie Macomber’s Back on Blossom Street; her third in a series. Also on our shelves is The Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs. Julia Roberts bought the movie rights to this book and plans to produce the movie in 2008. Both are entertaining reads and something you’ll want for your personal library.
